Cancellation Policy (for all lessons)

I have already paid the course fee. Can I cancel?

For lesson cancellation, you can cancel the lesson 3 days before the lesson day. We accept cancellation through e-mails or SNS messege. Refunds will be sent to your account, however, transfer fee will be deducted to the amount.

I can't attend the lesson this coming (day of the lesson). What should I do?

First, You may contact us through email or SNS.
You can transfer it to the next lesson or watch the video recording. (There is a viewing period.)
please remember that if you canceled the lesson less than 3 days, your lesson fees are non-refundable.
You don't have to worry because you can reschedule the lesson for the next course and it' FREE OF CHARGE.

I can no longer attend a workshop (WS), what should I do?

You may contact us through email or SNS.
For online workshop students who are absent, don't worry, we will send you a link of the recording through zoom.

I am in the middle of a three-day course and can no longer participate. Can I cancel the course?

We are sorry to inform you but cancellation of this course is not allowed. We are hoping for your understanding.

I have received the textbooks for the course, can I cancel?

In the case of cancellation of Mandala basic master course for which the textbooks have already been sent, the mailing cost for returning the textbooks will be paid by the student.
The textbooks for the Ocean Course and the Ocean Course Instructor include the order in which you will know how to draw. Please understand this beforehand, that you cannot cancel the courses. If you are unable to attend the class, please try your best to make it up in class.

About Lesson Registration

I think I signed up via message, but am I able to make a reservation?

As a general rule, please apply using the application form on each web page. Your application will be completed upon payment of the course fee.

Can I take the course as soon as I request it?

Please, refer to the calendar for which days are open, and you can make a reservation on these days.

Can I have a private lesson?

Private lessons for a WS: motif fee ( prices depend on the motif you choose) + 2,500 yen per hour( good for one hr., beyond which you need to pay an additional fee)

Can I join in the middle of the Mandala Expresson training course?

Please take the courses in order starting from the first day.
If you miss a lesson on the middle of the course, it will automatically be rescheduled for the next lesson. 

I am unable to attend the second day of the Mandala Art Practical Training Course.

If you attend only the first day, you do not have to attend in order. However, please take the basic course (Day 4) before attending the last day of the class. You can watch the recordings of the lessons on the days you are unable to attend. (There is a viewing period).

One day of the Ocean course does not fit in my schedule.

You can transfer it to the next lesson or watch the video recording. (There is a viewing period.)

About Re-taking Courses

I would like to retake just one of the Ocean courses, what should I do?

Please see the Ocean Courses schedule; you can join us for just one day at the price of a retake course.
3,000 yen per day for the Pastelism students. Other students: 8,000 yen per day.

Instructor and artist activities (sales, exhibitions)

Can I teach pastelisms workshop motifs?

You can teach if you are a Pastel Nagomi Art Instructor(JPHAA), have learned 3 pieces of Pastelism WS and pay 5,000 yen certification fee.

Can I teach the Ocean Course work?

Please take the Ocean Course Instructor Course. You cannot use the motifs from the Ocean Course in your workshops.

Can I teach mandala artwork?

Mandala Work Beginner Facilitators can teach my artwork to your students. (There are level restrictions depending on each piece.)
If you wish to teach the works from the Expression Training Course, please apply to the Mandala Work Headquarters for Intermediate Facilitator.

Can I sell the motifs I have learned or use them in exhibitions?

We are very sorry, but you cannot do this in principle due to copyright reasons.

Can I give my learned works as gifts to relatives and friends?

No problem if you gift it to them. I would be honored if they are happy with it.

Other

Can I take only one day of the ocean course and use the fee for the mandala work course?

No, you cannot use the course fee for other courses. (Common to all courses)
